With a year clocked up of occasional use on the Nightwatcher on L plates and a CBT I decided it was high time to get myself a proper bike license and after that a proper motorcycle. Noting the Nightwatcher wouldn't really be the best bike to turn up for ones test on due to its lack of mirrors, indicators and it being generally amusing to ride at slow speeds. Thus instilled a trip to BME in the hope of Ian having a 125 I could possibly borrow or purchase. Although he didn't I noticed a CB125 there and for some strange reason wanted one. Within a week I had acquired one from eBay with what looked to be a bent frame. And was generally quite tatty, although it came with a Haynes manual and some side panels from a previous model. Within this document you will find my struggle to rebuild the little monster in two weeks.

Ok so the bike did give me a bit of grief in the end and i spent far too much money on it but I broke even when i sold it on eBay and it was great fun when it worked. had plenty of power compared to a cg125 and handled better too. Even if things did keep breaking!
