XJ900 YAMAHA/MGB-GT TRIKE

After the completion of the Nightwatcher which was a new experiance to building bikes and having to get it road legal which meant nothing could be left to chance i was at a loose end. Seeing as dan was well into this trike building milarky i decided to have a shot at it myself. After a few trips to ians to talk about trikes i ended up with an XJ900 as a base, and shortly after an MGB-GT axle to use. The aim of this project is to make a smallish trike which has plenty of power for comfortable cruising and hopefully will be a bit more refined than the little 125cc yamaha. The 900 shaft drive engine should provide plenty of power and hopefully be reliable once i have rebuilt it. Its just a shame that it was abused by someone when they rebuilt it before putting it into storage and plenty of bits were missing. Im hoping to finish it for spring 2006 unless it breaks me first.
